Roam (2019) Board Game

In Roam, you and up to three friends compete to find lost adventurers. The game features over fifty unique tarot-sized adventurer cards, featuring characters from Near and Far, Above and Below, and Islebound. The back side of each card has a terrain section divided into six sections, and two rows of three of these cards are placed across the middle of the play area to create a board.

Each turn, you can activate adventurer cards by flipping over the cards. Activating an adventurer will allow you to place search tokens on the board, in the shape found on the corresponding adventurer card. As each terrain card space is searched, the player who did the most takes a card, discovering an adventurer and adding them to their team. Each adventurer on your team provides points and new ways to search.

As you search, you will also collect money that can be spent on special actions or to purchase artifacts with useful powers. When one player has ten adventurers on their team, the game ends and the player with the most points wins.
