Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure

Clank! is a deck-building card game for 2–4 players. Each player has their own deck, and building that deck is part of the game. At the start of each turn you draw five cards into your hand and play them all in any order you choose. Most cards generate resources, of which there are three types:

Skills — used to buy new cards.

Swords — used to fight monsters that populate the dungeon.

Boots — used to move around the board.

Whenever you acquire a new card, place it face up in your discard pile. When you need to draw and your deck is empty, shuffle your discard pile and turn it face down to form a new deck. With each shuffle, your most recently acquired cards become part of your stronger, improved deck! Each player starts with the same cards in their deck and gains new cards during the game. Because cards can do many different things, each player’s deck (and strategy) will diverge more and more as the game goes on.
