The inhabitants of Arkham have already withstood many threats. Unspeakable horrors, dark cults and ghostly possessions have plagued the city for many years, and each incident has been solved by brave investigators from all walks of life. But now Arkham faces its greatest threat yet, and the investigators' goal is to unite and ensure the city's safety.

This was supposed to be one last job... At the request of suspicious antiquarian Randall Tillinghast, who makes our investigators an offer they can't refuse, the investigators travel to the South Pacific and the vast, incomprehensible city of R'lyeh. The more they explore, the more terror and anxiety grow, until they finally face the greatest threat in their own and all of Arkham's history. The time has come. Cthulhu has awakened. Arkham will change forever.
