Three corporations, one moonbase
In Shackleton Base, you lead a space agency working with other players to establish a permanent base in the Shackleton Crater near the Moon’s south pole. At the same time, three major corporations support the mission – each with their own goals and special rules.

Three phases, three rounds, one race for points
The game plays over three rounds with the following phases:

- Spaceship Phase: Players select shuttle tiles that determine available astronauts and resources – and who starts the next phase.

- Action Phase: Deploy astronauts to gather resources, construct buildings, and activate projects from supporting corporations. Each company provides unique abilities and scoring opportunities.

- Maintenance Phase: Astronauts work on structures, and players receive bonuses, income, and any end-of-round effects from the corporations.

Shackleton Base blends worker placement, resource optimization, and variable setup depending on which three corporations are in play.
